Dear Colleagues and EORNA members all over Europe,

I wish to invite you all joining in the celebration of "The Perioperative Nurses Day" which is going to take place on 15th February 2010.
EORNA’ s Educational Committee proposes to you the followed theme for 2010 which is

«PATIENTS NEED QUALITY CARE» Competent nurses give safe care

It means for us as Operating Room Nurses, that we are the profession closely to the patient undergoing surgery, giving the best care, secure and protect the patient , pre-, intra- and postoperatively.
In this theme, we have to give focus on nurses competencies issues showing up our professions knowledge, skills, responsibility and visions to give quality care .
Let us share definitions, practice and visions in the care we give to the patient as specialist Nurses we are in every Operating Department all over Europe.
