Past activitiesEORNA ACTIVITIES IN 2001
The main objectives of EORNA for 2001 were the following:
to continue and expand relationships with Molnlycke Health Care (Klinidrape Foundation), IFPN, AORN, PCN, ENNO, ICN, EDANA, CEN, IFNA, European Surgical Institute, EU committees, health care companies and national associations to prepare EORNA Operating Room Standards to establish EORNA web-site to organise the 3rd EORNA Congress in 2003 to promote the Klinidrape EORNA Foundation to explore possibilities of producing a publication to promote EORNA. EORNA ACTIVITIES IN 2002
The prioritized objectives of EORNA for 2002 are the following:
1. To get the Constitution ratified by publishing it in the Belgium Gazette (by Autumn 2002). 2. To open an international bank account in Greece (by Autumn 2002, depending on the Constitution). 3. To produce an electronic Newsletter (eNewsletter) on the web-site according to the following procedure: the e-Newsletter group will identify outline content at the Spring & Autumn meetings. Articles are to be sent to Olivier Willieme (AFISO) by email for collation by May 31st/ December 31st. All the material received will be sent to e-Newsletter group for agreement. Final draft of the content will be sent to the President for approval. e-Newsletter will be forwarded to the website company. 4. To promote EORNA in order to make it visible and recognised in the perioperative and other health care world, and to ensure efficient fundraising for EORNA activities. 5. To promote the Klinidrape EORNA Foundation. 6. To continue the preparations concerning the 3rd EORNA Congress in 2003. 7. To prepare the first EORNA Recommended Practices (by Autumn 2002). 8. To expand the EORNA Foundation activity to be able to support individuals with their research/study trip/development projects and/or publishing activities. 9. Other activities: To explore the potential membership in ICN. To continue and expand relationships with Molnlycke Health Care (Klinidrape Foundation), IFPN, AORN, PCN, ENNO, EDANA, CEN, IFNA, European Surgical Institute, EU committees, health care companies and national associations.
