Description
The first edition of Aseptic Surgery Forum will be held on March 26 & 27, in la Cité des Sciences, in Paris (Fance). This congress-exhibition, started by Dr Patrick Mamoudy, DCSS hospital, Paris, is aimed at promoting good surgical practices and technological innovations to cure and prevent post-operative infections.
Designed to be a multidisciplinary exchange platform for all the actors involved in the fight against infection on a daily basis, Aseptic Surgery Forum will gather a large scope of professionals: Surgeons • Physicians, anaesthetists, resuscitators, emergency physicians, rheumatologists, radiologists, hygienists • Bacteriologists, infectious diseases specialists, microbiologists, Physiotherapists • Managers and nursing staff of operating theatre • Hospital-based pharmacists • Health workers • Pharmaceutical companies / manufacturers and suppliers of medical devices, technologies, products and services • Health authorities and supervisory bodies • Patient associations, etc. Over 45 presentations addressing topical issues Aseptic Surgery Forum 2010 is a two-day conference programme comprising over 45 lectures given by practitioners and experts in different medical or technological specialties. These presentations are aimed at improving infected patients management and hygienic practices among professionals, promoting fundamental researches on the mechanisms leading to infections as well as the development of technologies and the design of medical devices to limit infection risks. A focused exhibition Running in parallel with the conferences, Aseptic Surgery Forum 2010 exhibition is an opportunity for attendees to discover innovative technologies that help to prevent and treat infections.
