The EORNA Academy has been designed for research, development of projects, and support of study trips with a particular goal, translations, printing of publications and brochures promoting improvements in the quality of patient care or staff working conditions in the perioperative environment. Name of the award you are applying for is : The Mölnlycke Health Care Experience Point – a study trip to share best practice The purpose of this study trip is to share best practice between operating room nurses within the EORNA member countries. To give an open forum for discussions, exchange of experience, knowledge and ideas between the participants. When choosing topics we aim to cover wide-ranging and topical subjects in the perioperative field to support you and your colleagues in your daily work. The speakers will be specialists and experts in their fields. All applications must fulfill the given requirements. Only applications that meet the requirements and that are received within the given time limits will be taken into consideration. The application period for the study trip this year is closed. But you can already apply for Mölnlycke Health Care Experience Point 2009, till 31st of May 2009!
CRITERIA FOR THE MÖLNLYCKE HEALTH CARE EXPERIENCE POINT
The applicant must be a member of her/his national perioperative association since at least 2 years and working within the area of clinical perioperative practice. The membership and current occupation of the winner will be verified with her/his national perioperative association. If the membership is not valid, the winner will lose all rights and a new winner will be chosen. The applicant must have a good level of knowledge in the English language and be able to read, write and communicate in English. All the winners are expected to present a paper on the study trip at her/his national perioperative association’s congress and in the journal of the national perioperative association. The participant shall send a written report in English on the study trip to Mölnlycke Health Care and the chairperson of the Scientific Task Group two months after the study trip. Both Mölnlycke Health Care and EORNA have the right to present all the reports on their websites.
